VOLUNTEER PROGRAM

Metropolitan Center for Women and Children has a variety of volunteer opportunities and provides regularly scheduled training for volunteer staff. We need you. If you can listen, and sometimes that’s all it takes, you can make a difference. You can help a woman change her life. You may even help her save her life.

We Need...

  • Crisis-line counselors to answer our 24-hour crisis line. With special training, you can answer the line in your own home and help someone in need.
  • Children’s helpers to stay with children who are living at Cornerstone House, to conduct play sessions and to help with trips and special events.
  • Financial donors to guarantee that Metro will be available to the many women and children who need our help.
